Why Restart HVAC?

We would like to dignify to you the qualities why our customers choose us. We could list 100 or even more reasons why you should choose us, but we value your time, so here are our three main advantages:

1. Quality of workmanship and materials used

2. Extensive experience in repairs and installations

3. Reliable fulfillment of
warranty obligations.

Work Processes

Installation Process

Installation starts at 8am, full access to the installation site is required, which includes access to the installation site of the outdoor and indoor units, access to the electrical panel, access to the crawl space/basement and/or attic may be required (if installing in this location or wiring etc.). If installing equipment on the roof, access to the roof must be provided (must have been checked in advance if it is a multi-family building). If it is a replacement of existing equipment, the installation starts with the removal of the old equipment. The installation process and work order is determined by the installation team on site and is carried out in the order in which the work will be completed quickest. As a rule, access is required to the entire installation site at the same time. Both the process of removing old equipment and installing new equipment is accompanied by high noise levels. Once the installation is complete, the team checks the system for proper operation. The job is considered complete. Payment is made on the last day of installation by check or cash. If payment is not possible for any reason on the day of installation, a check must be sent in advance and received prior the installation. Deposit of this check will be made upon completion of the work. Additional charges may apply for late access to the work resulting in extended installation time or rescheduling.

Estimate Process

The estimate process consists of several steps:
1. Full access to the room for which the installation is planned;
2. Access to the previously installed equipment (Furnace, AC, Heat Pump, Ducts, Ductless);
3. Access to the electrical panel;
4. Access to the crawl space/basement and/or attic;
5. Access to the intended installation location (attic, crawl space/basement, garage, closet) as well as access to the outdoor unit installation location (if planned) around the perimeter of the house and/or roof;

If full access is not provided, the estimate will not be provided or will be provided to familiarize with the approximate amount, which may be increased during the execution of the work.

Diagnostic/Repair Process

The Diagnostic/Repair process consists of the following steps:
1. Full access to the room where the diagnosis/repair is being performed;
2. Access to the equipment (Furnace, AC, Heat Pump, Ducts, Ductless or other);
3. Access to the electrical panel;
4. Access to the crawl space/basement and/or attic;
5. After diagnostic, an estimate for repair is provided. If it is necessary to search for a part in order to create an estimate and carry out the repair, the diagnostic fee is charged after the diagnostic has been carried out and can be taken into account in the final payment when the work is carried out. If the technician is able to carry out the repair immediately after the diagnostic, but the customer does not agree to make the repair on the same day, the diagnostic fee is charged separately from the repair and won’t be waived in the repair invoice.

Terms and Conditions can be found in the estimate/invoice sent to you.
